I picked this up a little while ago and have played through a few adventures now. I've been playing mostly with my 5 year old son and he loves it. I definitely have to lead him through the game phases, but he grasps everything that is going on and is able to make decisions on his turn easily.

There's a lack of solo-only adventures, there's really only one, the "learn the game" first adventure. I really like the changes to the treasure deck to pretty much all items that you can choose when to use them, as opposed to the Ravenloft "blessings" etc that occur immediately. The chambers are also a nice introduction, they're special areas that reveal completely when you find them, and usually contain the climactic battle of the adventure.

After about 5 plays I'd rate this 8/10 based on the saskgames rating system.

I played Castle Ravenloft (the other in the system) again Saturday night. The system leaves me looking for something more.

Given all that, I give WoA a 6.5
