Hi all,

Hope you have had a good Easter holiday. With Easter now come and gone, there is no doubt we are fully entering spring. I like spring a lot - if for no other reason then I can stop having to wear so many layers of clothes to go outside (a small joy for a small mind - lol).

For the month of April, the game that will be featured is Merchant & Marauders. This is a pirate themed game set in the age of sail in the Caribbean Sea. As the name suggests you can choose to be either a legitimate captain - or not (or you can switch!). Check it out on Boardgamegeek: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/25292/merchants-marauders

Also I want to make mention that next month is the annual board game convention in Regina put on by the FRAG gaming club. It's on the first weekend in May and runs from Friday to Sunday. For more information on FragCon 2015 go to: http://www.reginagamers.com/index.php/convention

Of course there will be other games as well.  Bring along a few of your favourites. And if anyone has a game they'd be willing to teach and feature for next month, please contact me about it.

Strategy Saturday will be at Argyle Road Baptist Church (3510 Argyle Rd) from 7pm to midnight.  As usual we'll have our snack counter open so feel free to contribute a drink or something to munch on.  And feel free to bring along friends (and to forward this invite).
