Werewolf in the Park?
« on: July 08, 2014, 01:11:50 PM »
Wondering if anyone would be interested in a "Werewolf in the Park" game sometime over the summer.  I walked by Chess in the Park earlier today and thought to myself "there's so many better games you could be playing" - and werewolf is one of them!  I'd be glad to moderate, and I'm sure there's more than enough other people that would be interested in participating.  If I get enough +1's, I'll get in touch with Regina Downtown and try to schedule something.

I imagine all we'll need is a megaphone of some sort.  Would have to start with a beginner (basic roles only) game for newcomers.  I've moderated games of 30+ players before so that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm thinking sometime over a lunch hour during the week.

I think this is a capital idea.

How do you feel about an early evening game. I suspect the response to this could be quite positive.

I wouldn't be opposed to it, just easier for me personally to do it over lunch, and I figured it'd get more notice with the number of people who walk around that area over lunch.  Could totally be a SaskGames promo :)

I for sure would play. Longer than one hour would be cool. I can loan my PA/guitar amp and mic - there would need to be a power source.\\

Just let me know when and Were. haha.

I think what RTigger is trying to do is tap into the city of Regina stuff that happens in lunch hours downtown - would sure be good exposure for SaskGames and as the marketing guy for SaskGames I like this idea - downtown pretty much empties out after work. Maybe a night thing would be good as well, but I like the exposure at lunch and tying into the Regina Downtown program

Yeah, that's more or less what I was going for, but mostly because that's when I can be consistently available.  I know I could draw a pretty decent crowd of players from my office as well (we regularly have 30+ play-by-email games).

Nothing saying someone couldn't organize an evening event as well, even in conjunction with some other evening events (Market under the Stars, the movies they play, etc.)
