Tempest

Yep, that's right. I'll try and have it finished soon, anyone interested? I'm using the peasant rule of if it was ever printed as a common its fair, although some stuff that's essentially rares might not make the cut. I'll be using my discretion, basically. Suggestions welcome.

Tempest

I'm starting with more recent stuff (kinda) and working my way back. I haven't decided if I'm gonna go for the 360 or make it larger. I know the urza lands are out, as well as quite a few others. The idea is to use cards that are as good as possible in a limited environment, or at least fun to play. I could see myself using about half of the cards in there that I recognize.

There's quite a few cards there that I was thinking about too. Don't know about Mind swords. One thing I've come across, and I'll probably be undoing later is cards that rely heavily on certain other cards, like madness, spirit/arcane, allies, etc. I'm throwing them in for now, and then I'll review the thing as a whole when I'm done.

Well a cube is a set number of 'the best cards' from Magic's history that you make into packs for drafting. It's a very exciting format, with some ridiculous draft decks. Pauper is the same rough idea, but with all commons. I'll post up some links later if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Also, almost got the rough draft done. Sitting around 800~ cards right now.

Usually by putting them into fifteen card packs with 2 artifacts, 1 non-basic land, 2 multi-colour cards and then 2 cards of each colour. Some do 16 card packs, putting in two non-basics, but I'm not a huge fan of that.
