1st place will receive a Premium Promo pack, 2nd place will receive 1 regular promo pack and 2 regular promo packs will be given out randomly to different players (not 1st or 2nd place).


The format for FNM at ComicReaders will be both Draft and Modern.

Play begins for Modern at 6:30pm. We will now run 4 rounds as a maximum even if we have more than 16 players.

Players with a winning record will receive packs of the latest Magic release as prizes. We will now be using a structured payout system.

4 wins will payout 8 packs
3 wins 1 draw will payout 6 packs
3 wins will payout 4 packs
2 wins 1 draw will payout 2 packs
2 wins 1 draw will payout 3 packs (only if there are 3 rounds)
2 wins will payout 2 packs (only if there are 3 rounds)

Alternatively, we are now offering store credit towards MTG singles, for every pack a player wins, they can opt to take $2 per pack as credit instead of receiving packs.

DESCRIPTION
For the month of March, draft will be held instead of Standard.

Drafting is a great way to learn to play competitive Magic without needing to have a large collection, and a great way to acquire new cards. We always draft with the most recent set. Drafts will now be a maximum of 3 rounds, and there will be no pod mixture if there are multiple drafting pods.

1st place will receive a premium promo, and 1 random player will receive a regular promo

Players with a winning record will receive packs of the latest Magic release as prizes, the prize structure is as follows:
3 wins will payout 4 packs
2 wins 1 draw will payout 3 packs
2 wins will payout 2 packs

Alternatively, we are now offering store credit towards MTG singles, for every pack a player wins, they can opt to take $2 per pack as credit instead of receiving packs.

Wednesday nights are Legacy!

Players with a winning record will receive a portion of the prize pool. We need 6 players minimum to run the event.

The prize pool will be $5 MTG singles credit per player, but if everyone in attendance is in agreement we can charge a higher entry to make a bigger prize pool.

As long as we have at least 6 players to run the event, 1st place will receive a choice between a premium promo pack (Throne of Eldraine) or a regular promo pack (Theros Beyond Death) and a random player will receive a promo pack (Throne of Eldraine).

[Theros Beyond Death PreRelease]

Theros Beyond Death PreRelease *Magic: The Gathering*

DESCRIPTION
The Theros Beyond Death Prerelease gives players their first opportunity to play with Theros Beyond Death cards. 

Please note: There will be a TBD player cap on this event

Special note: We cannot run our usual morning event due to a major Keyforge event also happening the same day

DATE & TIME
Each PreRelease event will end after 4 Rounds, regardless of the number of players involved. This helps prevent player burnout, but also allows us to set a schedule for each pre-release event. That said, there are other factors that influence the length of a prerelease event. Therefore, the schedule you see below is tentative and is subject to change.
