I'll probably bring 2-3 games so if anyone would like to try out any of the games I've mentioned let me know & I'll make sure to bring them along.
Mac
Hey Mac! I plan to be there by early evening and would be very interested in trying Hawaii, assuming there is interest from others for that title too. I will probably just bring one or two small games myself, such as Drakon by Fantasy Flight and/or an earlier, basic edition of Cosmic Encounter by Mayfair Games, and/or Pick Picknic by Rio Grande.

I got a "heads up" on this great news from Mac, on the weekend. Kudos to all three of you for taking the initiative to make it happen. I am especially enthusiastic about this new venue since it is planned as a weekly event, AND is only a stones throw from my place. I trust your initiative will meet with success. Good stuff guys!!!

Hi Colin! If it's still available, I will take the New York Card Game. (I will be at the FRAG Game Day on the 28th, if that would work for you.) Thanks! Barry

Thanks Matt! I will set aside the game for you. And, although I would be pleased to complete the transaction as a simple sale to you, I would ask that you consider instead trading the game for your copy of Seii Taishogun (that is of course, contingent on you still having that game in the first place). Thanks!

Hi there! I don't know if you still have your Tomb game available, but if so, I have a near mint unplayed third edition (Games Workshop) of Talisman, and all three expansions (also near mint and unplayed). Would you be interested in any of those items? Thanks! (You may have already looked at my For Sale list on this site and found nothing of interest, and if so I apologize.)

With thanks to the administrators for setting up this section in the first place, I am attaching a list in Microsoft Word of the several dozen board games I have for sale. Most of these games are in a condition I like to describe as "Near Mint" by which I mean that the shrink wrap has been removed, but the game is unused and unplayed (i.e. cards are wrapped/pristine, cardboard counters and tiles are unpunched and still in their sprues, etc.). There are also a few titles that are used (and are listed clearly as such) but are still in very good or excellent condition.
Please note I am willing to negotiate a trade for any of the titles if you have something you think might be of interest to me. (If you want to trade, it's best to send me a list of what you have.) Regardless, if you see something of mine that you would like to have, send me a private note rather than posting a reply on the site. Thanks!
Barry Ellis
Update: I found it odd that my game list has been downloaded several dozen times, and yet I have only received a couple of e-mail messages as a result. My e-mail address is listed at the bottom of the game list attachment, but I have only just realized that it is not listed on my profile. Anyway, I have just updated my profile, so you will now be able to contact me from the membership list (user name Bellis) in case you didn't see my e-mail address on my list of games. Also, all games listed are still available. Even though I have sold a few items, I actually have duplicates of many of the games. Thanks!
Bellis
Update - I'm putting up a couple more games for sale (or trade): Nitro Dice (by Minion Games) - $12 (used Simply Cosmic (basic Cosmic Encounter game with 8 aliens, by Mayfair Games) - $10 (used) Simply Cosmic *as described above* - $15 (shrink wrap removed, but all components intact and unused) Zombie Dice (by Steve Jackson Games) - $7
Update: Please note all the remaining games have now been sold. The bulk of them at the Frag Con auction.

Michael, the re-designed cards and now the new board look better than ever. However, I must confess that I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to appreciating the graphic design of most games, so I would have been satisfied with an earlier version of the board, shortly after you added the water marked colonial map earlier this year.
From your continual efforts at changing the game's components, first at graphic overhaul, then refinements, I suspect that you're looking to publish your game on your own rather than have a publisher take it over. That might work out OK for you, but I hope you've done your due diligence before you take the plunge. As it stands now, a would be publisher would still probably insist on some graphical changes (don't they always?), and that might stir up some resistance from you as you've already put so much effort into getting the "look" you want. Decide for sure how you want to proceed (a contract with a publisher, or self publish) before you enable any more changes in the artwork.

Right On! See you Saturday then, Matt!

Joan usually has a fairly busy schedule on Saturday afternoon, so I better say that you shouldn't expect us until sometime in the 7:30 to 7:45 range just to be on the safe side. And Matt, as far as length of stay goes, we are usually there until close to midnight, so depending on your intended length of stay, or the availability of any other players that you would also like to be a part of some/all of your game sessions, filling up your evening with game playing should not be a problem.

Matt, if you still need some interested players, I think both Joan and I would be interested in trying Ants!, Sky Runner, and/or Power Boats. (I've never played Lifeboats, but from what I've heard, I think it would probably be a little too diabolical for Joan to enjoy.)
