COVID-19 UPDATE: We continue to monitor the rules for social gatherings and the rules in place for restaurants, mixed gatherings and recommendations for physical distancing. We have spoken with Boston Pizza and they are eager to welcome us back but NOT YET. Games with shared components, and gamers from many households who move from table to table and sit in close proximity to each other, are major factors in our event. This means that an event such as Chewsday Challenge is difficult to fit into the recommended physical distancing models that we would need operate under to ensure the safety of our membership.

For now, Chewsday Challenge will remain SUSPENDED and we will update again once we have plans to re-establish our event. Please be patient as we wait out these difficult times and continue to do our part to reduce community spread. We will be back as soon as it is safe for us to gather again. We miss all of you and hope that everyone stays safe and healthy at this time.

The exec will be in contact with Boston Pizza at the end of July for an update as to how they might approach our return to Chewsday Challenge and any restrictions that we would be under in order to comply with government rules and restrictions. We also want to give them a chance to figure out their "new normal" and establish their staffing and operating hours before having to consider the logistics of our group. 

For now, Chewsday Challenge will remain SUSPENDED and we will update again once we have plans to re-establish our event. Please be patient as we wait out these difficult times and continue to do our part to reduce community spread. We will be back as soon as it is safe for us to gather again.
