I don't imagine it's a very popular game, so I'll probably be the only person with it.

It is a great game - at least in my opinion. I have played it more than anything else I own - if you are looking for a really deep game it is not that. Each game takes about 45 minutes and is more skirmish based - but if you like the cloud of war feeling and lots of action it is a great game.
I often bring the overlord version out to CC which plays 6-8 people so if you would ever like to give it a try I am more than happy to bring out so you can see if it is something you want to buy into
Agreed. My SO and I own every expansion, except for the impossible to find ones. One of our favourite games
