Confirming my spot for TI. I'll probably bring some stuff along for the ride, depending on how the day goes.

GAME: Cinque Terre (the Five Villages)
TEACHER:Tempest (Tyler)
START TIME: 6:30
DURATION: 90-120 minutes your best time estimate in minutes (account for teaching time)
# OF PLAYERS: 5
URL: Copy and paste the URL from Cinque Terre here

Gonna attempt to make it out; looks like all the 6:30s are filled, so lets add one more! How about a chill game about delivering produce? Cinque Terre is similar to Ticket to Ride, but still unique in its own ways. I've personally found it a very relaxing game, even though you're competing to drive around and make the most money.

...I also take requests if there's anything anyone's looking to play... I don't have much, but feel free to take a gander in my signature.

Did someone post a food-based game? Sign me up for Chai please! (Tea is food, right?)

I'd have to do a physical count of all my boxes and take some measurements after I move in. My rough estimate is *probably* 4 high by 6 wide, I'm thinking either one of the wood finishes or black.

After I'm done moving I'm also gonna be throwing a bunch of stuff up on ye ol' facebook marketplace, so I'll have to remember to take a look then as well!

...looking at the website they *do* have a 5x5, and that seems like it's the best deal to get those numbers... hmmm

I'll keep my eyes open! When I checked Ikea, it looks like they weren't shipping here right now.

Ah! Good to know! Thanks for the responses :)

...now I'll have to do some independent research into costs and if they ship to Regina haha.

Thanks again!

Quote from: Dana_Tillusz on May 23, 2023, 03:39:34 PMI use Ikea KALLAX shelving.

I've heard that's the popular one! How do you find it for games with slightly longer boxes? I'm thinking of stuff like Lords of Waterdeep, Power Grid, or even classic games like Monopoly/Risk/etc. Do you get some 'overhang'? Just trying to think of stuff like how it looks, and preserving the boxes and all that ;p

I've seen this discussion lots online, but I'm curious what people in the area use for their games. Right now, I have a collection of assorted shelves that I've accumulated over the years. However, they've kinda been scattered all over the place, and I'd like to condense everything down so it's just in one area after I'm doing moving. My collections floating around the 100-ish games (including expansions) number at the moment, so I think two tall-ish shelves should do the trick? I have a decent 6' tall (approx.) shelf, but I noticed the shelves on that warped a fair bit after holding all my D&D books and stuff like that.

Anyways, what do y'all use? Where'd you find yours?
