The winner of a Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier qualifies to play in one of the Regional Pro Tour Qualifiers tied to Pro Tour Vancouver 2015, which take place worldwide on April 25-26, 2015
Format: Standard (Swiss w/ Playoff)
Registration ends: 9:50 AM
Play begins 10:00 AM
Entry: $20.00
Planeswalker Points multiplier 4x, REL Competitive.
Head Judge: Byron Calver

He could borrow a Jund deck I made. Heavy on the removal. It has thragtusks, huntmasters (foreign language). It does not have bonfires however. I will try to remedy that if I can. Now that I am going to be getting back into FNM (more than likely in February), I am going to be getting cards and making a valid deck.

He's so right! That first hand was so bad I immediately regretted keeping it and I meant to dismember that flipped delver while he was tapped out! Being able to watch these errors is a great learning tool. Nice find!

Bumping an old thread! Since my job makes me work during FNM a lot of the time I bought the cards for a couple decks on magic online and have been playing in some daily events. If anyone else has a standard deck and wants to do some play testing I'd be down! I already added Doan and Mark.

Saskatchewan is the only place(between states and provincials) where Solar Flare placed first(as mentioned in Chaplin's article on SCG today).
He was the only Solar Flare player that was running a decent amount of counter-spells that I played against. It made the match up way harder when I couldn't just resolve whatever I want and say "Deal with it".

Bah, I can't believe the guy that beat me won. I had him dead on the board game 2 but made a huge play mistake. Third place ain't bad though!
