We recently tried out Shadowrun Crossfire: Prime Runner edition.  If you are a fan of the RPG this one should likely be on your watch list.  A really neat co-op.

We added a new video to our 2 player Let's Play series.   This time we go back to 1983 for Crossbows and Catapults!

Hi everyone,

The first issue of HeroHammer has been launched.  If you have any nostalgia towards the 4th / 5th WFB era in the early to mid 90's this will take you back.

The fanzine is free to download.  I have had the pleasure to introduce a Campaign Rule-set for the magazine.  This campaign is similar to the one I ran in Regina around 2008 - 9.  If you participated in that things may be familiar.

I will also be contributing a bunch more articles as I have time including a goofy / random board game which hopefully will be a free download in the next issue.

Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition / Mission 3: Agents of Annihilation/ Command Manual Scenarios / Learn to Play Scenario

A group of Skorpekh Destroyers has entered the fray with orders to eradicate the Space Marines completely.  One Assault Intercessor Squad has been ordered to hold out upon a defensible position, buying hte Space Marines time to launch a devastating counter-attack.

This mission introduces new unites, terrain features, pistol rules, Armour Penetration (AP), and multiple damage elements into the learning.

The battle lasts four turns.  If there are any Space Marines remaining by end of Turn 4 they win.

Mission 2: Against the Swarm has now been uploaded.

I think the Space Marine Captain may have been able to fire his pistol in the shooting phase even though he was in hth..  If anyone knows the correct rules please feel free to comment. Cheers!

Miniatures Games / Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition / Command Manual Scenarios

I haven't played much W40k over the years.  My first boxed set was 2nd edition.  I only played a handful of games during that era.  I somewhat preferred the grandeur of Epic instead.

When the Battle of Macragge came out I played a little and recently I also played a few games of 8th edition.

My 11 year old son has taken a liking to Death Guard and we decided we will play through the Missions in the Command Manual.

Unfortunately, it took 29 hrs to upload this 15 min clip to youtube.

But here is our battle report for Mission 1: First Contact.

Thanks for watching!

Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy W40k 2nd edition codex books.  They must be in good condition.

I am also looking to buy 1st edition W40k Rogue trader era books as follows: "Chapter Approved – Book of the Astronomican",  "Warhammer 40,000 Compilation", "Waaagh – Orks", "'Ere we Go", "Battle Manual", and "Vehicle Manual".

For Epic 40k I am interested in armies / models and also looking for the Tyranid Hive War supplement.

If you have anything for sale probably best to text me at 306 591 7601.

I will take Endeavor.

Endeavor - $25 - Ship goods and settle new lands in this euro engine builder! (Note: _not_ the Age of Sail edition, the original 2009 one)

Terry, to gather this information you may want to try to get hold of Ken McGovern or Gerald Rasmussen (spelling? / he goes by Razz).  They both played a big role at various times in organizing the convention or organizing the D&D modules.

Will do Maeson!

Hi everyone,

My youngest son, Kieran (10 yrs), and I have been playing a lot of 2 player games with the extra time we have during this Covid stuff.

We decided it would be fun to put the session reports on youtube.  We play a wide variety of games from mini's to abstracts to dedicated 2 players.

Feel free to check it out and let us know how we could improve.   This has been a fun project so far as we both really enjoy games of all genres.  It has also been quite fun learning video editing software slowly as we go (later episodes are edited and early ones are mostly raw footage).

Hi everyone,

Looking to buy Epic stuff.  Any edition is probably ok but I would prefer the 6mm stuff from the 80's - early 2000's.

Mostly play Epic Space Marine 2nd edition.

Located in Regina.

Thanks for the info.  I have all the official books for N17 to date as well as all of them from the 90's.  Just want to stay complete on all rules manuals, unfortunately and try to get the cards I am missing..  :o
