Chewsday Challenge Risk Legacy League
« on: October 23, 2013, 03:54:26 AM »
Just thought I'd throw up a thread here so we have an easy spot to communicate about any sorta game stuff, most importantly scheduling. I'm okay with going with a non-set schedule and playing when everybody has a matching schedule. Mine's a bit chaotic as I don't know until the Sunday before FOR SURE if I have any given Tuesday off BUT I'm supposed to have them guaranteed, so I should be safe in most conditions. Worst case scenario, I'll give everyone about a 48 hour notice if a given night doesn't work. Also, I am involved somewhat in scheduling of games, so I'll try to keep that in mind.

In any case, feel free to post thoughts, comments, concerns, questions, trash talk, not-so-secret planning here as well. The only rule is that if other people are viewing this thread we please AVOID SPOILERS. From the people hovering around the table tonight, it seems to me like more people may be interested in checking out this game, and as such I want to avoid spoiling anything for anyone if I can help it. Of course, since we're playing at a public event, it's fairly inevitable that with spectators information is going to leak out, we can't really control that. But if we could keep what we do let out to be a minimum, that'd be sweet, I think.
Got a request for a game, check out this link right here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/t_shak I'd be more than glad to bring any of these out to play.

Still need to get the other two guys on board with the forum if this is going to work.
Do either of you know if they are signed up for SaskGames?

Hey guys here are the dates that work for me up to the new year (may be subject to change but should be fairly reliable ) :
Nov 5- anytime
Nov 19 - after 9 pm
Nov 26 - anytime
Dec 3 - anytime
Dec 17 - after 9 pm
Dec 24 - anytime (although I may be out of town , still working out details)
Dec 31 - anytime (would much rather spend new years plotting world domination than going to a party/bar )

Chris, I believe everyone's on the forum... I'll send Trent a message so he knows this thread exists... I've been a bit disorganized since I've had to take care of some stuff at home. In any case, it looks like november is going to be a wash, so let's try and aim for the first tuesday in December. If stuff changes for anyone, keep us posted :excited:

I think your right about November being a wash.  Seeing how the holidays are steadily approaching
we might only get in one game night before the new year.

My december is looking like a can make all tuesdays exempt the 17th.

If scheduling is poor enough, how would everyone feel about a marathon night where we play as many games as possible? I mean, there's not helping it if the games end up going long anyways, but if we get a good pace, would you guys be cool with a 6:30-10:30~ish kinda thing? I know everyone has their own limits on how late they like to stay out and stuff. That, and too many games in a row might take the fun out of it. I just want to finish this before 2015 ;p
