Looking for suggestions for 3 A.M. type games... I suspect that Chess or Quiet Staring Contest might not be great ideas at that hour.

Offhand, I think games like PIT, MAGIC MAZE, maybe THE MIND, would be good.  Any other ideas?

There's room in the 4am game of Kremlin. . .

Some ideas for you if you want lighter games:
Tumblin Dice, Time's Up, Social Deduction games

I also find that games that have a comical narrative (like Kremlin. . . ) tend to work well because your emotions are so screwy by that time in the morning that any little thing will cause you to laugh uncontrollably. . .

It's also fun to 'push yourself' and see how you do in a heavier game at that hour.  We played Maria one year and it was fun to try and burn brains when we didn't have any brains left.

Hey Brad,

I'll take Affentennis, can you bring it to PWYF?  I live out of town so I don't make it to a lot of gaming events.

Thanks,
Dave Schmidt

Seems to be a lot of people playing RPGs at the Prairie Games Expo.  The next one isn't until January but that could be a good place to find a group.

Also, playing online is a lot of fun using tools like roll20.  That's how I plays 95% of the time because I live in a small town (Strasbourg).

Roll20 has a looking for group/game tool that helps in finding games and other players.

Please sign me up for Pitch Car Mini.

Also, I don't see sign-ups for the RPGs, but if you do need to sign up, please sign me up for:

I can bring captain sonar, if you just want to borrow it you can play it whenever you'd like.  If you need more people to play it with and/or teach it, me and my team are willing to play it late at night but not early in the event.

We decided to cancel this event as it was only 10% sold out and we are about a month away.  Maybe next year!

How'd it go?

I arrived at 5:55pm and it was already full :(  - So we went and watched the Solo movie instead.

Anyone going to the DnD event tonight at Board Game Bistro?  I’m really toying with the idea of going but haven’t decided yet.

I’m also slightly worried that I’ll drive in from Strasbourg and find out that the five tables of DnD are all full.

Looking forward to it!  Haven't been able to make it in other years.
